Setting up the Tracker
Power and Connect the Device

 

 Ensure your Teltonika device is powered on. 

 Connect the device to your computer using a USB cable. 

 

 

 Install Teltonika Configurator

 

 Download the Teltonika Configurator for your specific device from the following link:  https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/Teltonika_Configurator_versions 

 Open the file 'Teltonika.Configurator.exe' once downloaded. 

 

 

 Reset Configuration

 

 In the Configurator, select your device from the main menu. 

 From the top menu, choose 'Reset configuration' and then confirm. 

 

 

 Setup Settings

 

 GPRS:

 

 From the left menu, select 'GPRS'. 

 Enter the APN details respective to your SIM card provider. You can find them here:  https://www.solwise.co.uk/SIM-Card-APN-Settings 

 On the same page enter these server details: Domain: api.trackingthis.com Port: 8833 Protocol: UDP 

 

 

 System:

 

 From the left menu, select 'System'. 

 Under 'Data Protocol', select: Codec 8 (NOT Codec 8 Extended). 

 

 

 

 

 Save Settings

 

 From the top menu, select 'Save to device'.

Configuring in tT
  

 

 Go to the vehicle asset. 

 

   

 

 Debug it, by clicking the asset image at the top left. 

 

   

 

 Select "Create new Object". 

 

   

 

 From the dropdown, select "Asset_Management01_Asset01_GPSLocation01" and submit. 

 

   

 

 Populate Name field as desired, for example "GPS". 

 

 Populate TrackerIMEI with the IMEI from your Teltonika tracking device and submit. 

   

 

 The vehicle should now have the GPS module within its history.

Bookings/Loans

Loaning Equipment - LMTT
Ongoing Equipment Loan: Loan Asset To loan equipment using the asset, ensure the asset’s personality profile has “Add to Job Enabled.” You’ll also need the Asset ID, so have it ready before starting. 

 Enable “Ongoing Equipment Loan” by going to contact and selecting “Ongoing Equipment Loan” in groups. 

 

 To loan equipment click the item on the right side of the screen labelled with the users name and “Ongoing Equipment Booking Confirmed” underneath 

 REFRESH 

 Loan equipment by adding the asset ID in the product/category section. 

 Return item by going to the equipment profile, selecting “Return from Job,” and returning it to the appropriate location. 

 The booking is ongoing, so keep it in confirmed status.
